Ten days is not nearly long enough to see the entire country of India. As a group, we will be focused mainly on the holy city of Rishikesh. If you want to see more of India and can afford the added time away from your life, you will definitely want to extend your stay. Perhaps you will want to see the Taj Mahal, or the bodies of holy ones being cremated in Varanasi. Maybe you will want to hit the beach in Goa or volunteer at Mother Teresa’s center in Calcutta.
To assist you with your travels, we have hired a travel agent in India who can easily put together some sight seeing packages. Of course, you are welcome to plan your own travels too.
We will also provide you with a worksheet that will help you to organize your plans and figure out how much time and money to budget for your extended travels.
TIP: Download our Extended Travel Worksheet (PDF) to help you book travel before or after our retreat.
